New School Timing Implemented In Rajasthan: Rajasthan has introduced major changes in school schedules for the 2026–27 academic session. The new academic year will begin on April 1, marking a shift from the earlier July session system followed for several years across the state.
Under the revised schedule issued by the Rajasthan Education Department, school timings have also been changed. From April 1, 2026, both government and private schools will operate from 7:30 AM to 1:00 PM. Officials say the change aligns with the framework of the National Education Policy 2020 and aims to improve academic planning.
