RRB NTPC Undergraduate Level CBT-1 Exam:  The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has released the schedule for the NTPC (Non-Technical Popular Categories) Undergraduate (UG) Level CBT-1 examination. According to the official notification, this examination will be conducted in Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode from May 7 to June 21, 2026. This recruitment drive is being conducted to fill 3,058 vacancies across various NTPC categories.

As per the official notification, the CBT-1 examination will span several days. The exam is scheduled to be held on May 7, 8, 9, and on June 13, 14, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, and 21, 2026. This examination will be conducted at various centers across different shifts.

When Will City Slips and Admit Cards be released?

The board has informed that the advance city intimation slip will be released around 10 days before the exam. This will help candidates know their allotted exam city in advance. The admit cards are expected to be issued 3 to 4 days before the exam date. Candidates will be able to download these documents from the official RRB websites.

What Is the Official RRB NTPC Exam Pattern?

The CBT-1 exam will consist of a total of 100 multiple choice questions. Each question will carry one mark. The total duration of the exam will be 90 minutes. The question paper will have three sections. General Awareness will include 40 questions for 40 marks. Mathematics will have 30 questions for 30 marks. General Intelligence and Reasoning will also include 30 questions for 30 marks. The total will be 100 questions for 100 marks. There will be negative marking in the exam. One-third of a mark will be deducted for every incorrect answer.

Are Aadhaar Verification and Biometrics Mandatory for Entry?

As per the latest notice, Aadhaar-linked biometric verification will be done at the exam centre before entry. Candidates must carry their original Aadhaar card or an e-verified Aadhaar. Entry will not be allowed without proper verification. Candidates are advised to complete Aadhaar authentication in advance. They should also ensure that their Aadhaar is in unlocked mode at the time of reporting to the exam centre.

The board has asked candidates to regularly check the official RRB websites for the latest updates on NTPC and other recruitment exams. Important information related to admit cards, exam instructions, and other notices will be released there. Failure to follow the given instructions may lead to disqualification or denial of entry at the exam centre.
