SSC CGL 2026 Registration Deadline Extended: The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has extended the registration deadline for the SSC Combined Graduate Level (CGL) Examination 2026 after several requests from candidates who missed the earlier deadline. Now, applicants can submit their SSC CGL application form 2026 till June 25, 2026 (11 PM), which was earlier June 22. Despite over 28 lakh applications completing their application process within the prescribed timeline, many students requested an extended deadline, citing various reasons that prevented them from completing the registration. Candidates must now log in to the SSC official portal at ssc.gov.in and submit their application form. Only after successful registration will the candidates be eligible to appear for the exam tentatively scheduled in August-September 2026.

Steps To Apply For SSC CGL 2026?

The registration link is active now. Using the following steps, candidates can fill in their application form. 

Step 1: Visit the SSC official portal at ssc.gov.in.

Step 2: On the home page, click on “Apply Link” and select the “Combined Graduate Level Examination, 2026” link.

Step 3: For new users, select the Register Now option. 

Step 4: Complete your SSC one-time registration by filling in basic details.

Step 5: You will get your registration number and password.

Step 6: Using the above credentials, complete the application form.

Step 7: Upload mandatory documents and pay the registration fee.

Step 8: Review all details carefully and submit the form.

SSC CGL 2026: Revised Registration Dates

Once the registration window closes, SSC will open the correction window from July 1 to 3, allowing candidates to edit or modify the submitted application details. The revised schedule is given below for your reference. 

Fee Payment Deadline Extended

Candidates who submit their application form during this extended timeline can pay the application fee till June 26, 2026 (11:00 PM). The application fee is Rs 100 and must be paid through online payment modes such as SBI Challan/BHIM UPI/Net Banking/Visa/Mastercard/Maestro Credit/RuPay debit card.

The Commission has further clarified that apart from the application-related dates, all terms and conditions mentioned under the CGL recruitment 2026 will remain unchanged. For more details, candidates must visit the SSC official portal and read the complete notification.
