The Staff Selection Commission will hold a competitive examination to hire Multi-Tasking Staff for various Ministries, Departments, and Offices of the Government of India throughout States and Union Territories. These occupations are classified as Pay Band-1 (INR 5200-20200) with a Grade Pay of INR 1800, corresponding to Level-1 in the Pay Matrix as defined by the 7th Central Pay Commission. The in-hand SSC MTS wage, based on the 7th CPC, ranges from Rs 18,000 to Rs 22,000 per month, depending on the work position and location of assignment.
