UGC NET 2025 Application: The National Testing Agency (NTA) is all set to conclude the online registration process for the University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test (UGC NET) December session today, November 7, 2025 on their official website. Those candidates who want to become Assistant Professors and/or receive Junior Research Fellowships (JRF) will be able to apply for the exam on the official website, ugcnet.nta.nic.in.

UGC NET 2025: Official Schedule

According to the official schedule released by the National Testing Agency, UGC NET December 2025 session examination will be conducted from December 31 to January 7, 2026, across the country. NTA will also publish the exam city intimation slip at least 10 days before the commencement of the exam; however, the UGC NET 2025 admit card release date is yet to be announced.

How to Apply for UGC NET 2025:

The students are advised to follow the steps mentioned below to register online.

Step 1. Students must visit the official website: ugcnet.nta.nic.in to complete the registration formalities. 

Step 2. There will be a link for the UGC NET Registration 2025 available on the homepage.

Step 3. Complete registration and then log in with your details in the designated fields.

Step 4. A new window will open on the screen where you have to fill out the application form.

Step 5. Upload relevant documents and pay the application fee to complete the registration.

Step 6. Submit the form and take a printout for future reference. 

The students must keep a close check on the official website of the NTA to stay updated with the latest information and updates.
