UGC NET Re-Exam 2026: Result Process
NTA has clarified that conducting the re-exam for three subjects will have no impact on the results, Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) allocation, or e-certificates for the 84 subjects for which the answer key has already been published. The number of candidates eligible for Assistant Professor positions will continue to follow the 6% of candidates appearing in the original examination or re-test, whichever is higher. Furthermore, allocations already made for the three affected subjects will not be reduced following the re-examination, NTA said.
