Pharmacy Affiliation Process for 2026-27: The process for granting affiliation to diploma-level pharmacy institutions for the 2026-27 academic session has begun. The Technical Education Council of Uttar Pradesh has activated the U-Rise portal for this purpose. Now, all applications related to the establishment of new pharmacy institutions, starting new courses, increasing or decreasing admission capacity, and institution closure will be accepted only through the U-Rise official website at urise.up.gov.in.

How to Apply for New Pharmacy Institutions?

This system has been implemented in compliance with the government order of the Technical Education Department. All newly applying and previously affiliated diploma-level pharmacy institutions can apply online by April 30, 2026.

No applications will be accepted after the stipulated date. Applicants wishing to open a new diploma pharmacy institution must register through the link available on the U-Rise portal. During the process, it is mandatory to upload documents and pay a fee of Rs 5,900.

What Are the Requirements for Existing Colleges?

Existing institutions affiliated with the council that wish to start a new course, change their admission capacity, or apply for closure must submit their applications through the SU login on the U-Rise portal. An online payment of Rs 11,800 is required for this.

The council has clarified that applications submitted through any other means, whether offline or any other online platform, will not be accepted.
