UPSC IFS Main Exam 2023: The Union Public Service Commission has announced the exam dates of the UPSC IFS Main exam 2023. The exams will be conducted on November 26, 28, 29, and 30, and on December 1, 2, and 3, 2023. Candidates who have been shortlisted to appear for the Indian Forest Service (IFS) Main examination can check the schedule at upsc.gov.in.
According to the schedule, the UPSC IFS Main exam will be held in two shifts including the morning shift will start at 9 am and will end at noon while the afternoon shift will commence at 2:30 pm and will end at 5:30 pm. The Indian Forest Service Main Exam will be conducted in various centers including Bhopal, Delhi, Chennai, Dispur in Guwahati, Kolkata, Hyderabad, Lucknow, Port Blair, Nagpur, and Shimla.
The UPSC administers the IFS (Indian Forest Service) examination through a three-stage process, including a preliminary examination, a main examination, and an interview process. Aspiring candidates are required to successfully clear each stage to qualify for the next. Following the main examination, candidates who meet the required criteria will be eligible to participate in the interview round. Upon completion of the interviews, a final list will be issued on the official portal.
