UPSC Prelims Result 2026: After the declaration of the UPSC Prelims result 2026 on June 15, 2026, a fresh controversy has resurfaced on social media regarding the questions asked in the UPSC Civil Services Preliminary Examination 2026. The National Students' Union of India (NSUI) President, Vinod Jakhar, has alleged that 82 of 100 questions in the UPSC Prelims 2026 were identical to the study materials of a coaching institute, Anantam IAS. He added that many questions not only mirrored the content of the notes but also resembled their wording and presentation.
After the conclusion of the exam, the notes on the questions were modified, and the corresponding dates with the materials were allegedly modified, he claimed. These developments have raised concerns over the transparency of the paper and allegedly raised suspicion on the possible collusion of the coaching institutions and the examination process.
