Accordingly, keeping in view the safety of students, a holiday has been declared on August 5, 2026 (Wednesday) in all government, non-government, and private schools and Anganwadi centres from Class 1 to 12 in Bageshwar district.

In light of the warning issued by the Meteorological Department, Dehradun, all government, non-government, and private schools and Anganwadi centres for Classes 1 to 12 in Bageshwar district will remain closed on August 5, 2026 (Wednesday). The Chief Education Officer/District Program Officer, Bageshwar, will ensure compliance with this order.

The order, issued by District Magistrate and Chairman of the District Disaster Management Authority, Apoorva Pandey, states that necessary action will be taken against those found violating the directive, ensuring strict compliance across all educational institutions and Anganwadi centres in the district.
