A official from the higher education department (HED) said that everything is now in place to release the results quickly. “We were already prepared and are ready to take immediate action,” said Education Minister Bratya Basu.

Although WBJEE Board Chairperson Sonali Chakraborty Banerjee did not give an exact date, she confirmed receiving the government’s directive and said an update would be shared by 31 July. “We will act as per the new directive,” she told PTI.
