Sharad Kapoor, widely recognized for his roles in films like Josh, Lakshya and LOC Kargil, has been accused of sexual harassment by a 32-year-old woman. According to the police as per a report by IANS, the alleged incident occurred at Kapoor's residence in Khar, Mumbai, where the victim claims the actor misbehaved and inappropriately touched her.

The victim revealed that she came into contact with Sharad Kapoor through Facebook. Their communication continued via video calls, during which Kapoor expressed a desire to meet her to discuss a shooting project. He reportedly shared his location, asking her to visit what he claimed was his office in Khar.

Upon arriving, the woman discovered the location was not an office but Kapoor's home. When she entered the third-floor apartment, a man opened the door, and Kapoor called her into the bedroom. Later in the evening, Kapoor allegedly sent her a WhatsApp message containing foul language.

Feeling distressed, the woman narrated the incident to a friend, who helped her approach the Khar Police Station. The police have since registered a complaint against Kapoor under the Bhartiya Nyay Sanhita (BNS) sections 74 (assault or use of criminal force against a woman), 75 (sexual harassment), and 79 (insulting the modesty of a woman). Sharad Kapoor has not yet issued a statement regarding the allegations. Meanwhile, the Mumbai Police have summoned him for questioning.
