Welcome To The Jungle Movie Release: The wait is finally over for Bollywood comedy fans. The highly anticipated slapstick entertainer, Welcome To The Jungle, has officially made its grand theatrical debut today, 26 June 2026. Directed by Ahmed Khan, the film serves as the chaotic third instalment in the iconic Welcome franchise.

Boasting one of the biggest ensemble casts seen in modern Indian cinema, the movie had already generated significant pre-release buzz, with its special Thursday evening paid previews successfully raking in an impressive Rs 3.50 crore net at the domestic box office.

Welcome To The Jungle Twitter Review

Social media platforms, particularly X (formerly Twitter), are currently flooded with highly energetic reactions from first-day-first-show viewers. Netizens have widely dubbed the film an unapologetic "laugh riot" and a perfect brain-off family entertainer. Trade analyst Sumit Kadel shared a highly positive 3.5-star review on X.

Another moviegoer highlighted the incredible comic nostalgia and stress-busting factor of the movie, writing, "#AhmedKhan pulling off such an Assemble of terrific star cast in #WelcomeToTheJungle with dozem of laughter, fun and side-splitting non stop entertainer... #AkshayKumar ultimate stress buster."

Welcome To The Jungle Cast, Crew And Plot

Welcome To The Jungle expansive cast features Akshay Kumar alongside heavyweights like Suniel Shetty, Paresh Rawal, Arshad Warsi, Jackie Shroff, Johnny Lever, and Raveena Tandon. Leading ladies Disha Patani and Jacqueline Fernandez add plenty of glamour to the frame.

The eccentric plot kicks off with a bizarre premise where Paresh Rawal's character formulates a wild plan to white-wash a politician's mountain of black money by shooting a fake, massively budgeted Rs 2,000 crore film. Akshay Kumar plays a struggling, unsuccessful actor recruited for the project alongside an array of quirky characters. However, the entire film crew accidentally lands in an isolated jungle village controlled by terrorists, who mistake the actors for a real, elite military unit.

Before securing its theatrical exhibition certificate, the film had to undergo 18 specific modifications ordered by the censor board, which trimmed down politically sensitive lines and overly sensual dance sequences. Despite a lengthy runtime of nearly 165 minutes, the movie relies on meta references, spectacular stunts, and clean situational humor, making it a crowd-pleasing theatrical experience.
