Hanuman Ansh keeps setting new records at the box office. The devotional drama even surpassed Yash's pan-Indian movie Toxic. Amidst this, the devotional drama's director Vishal Chaturvedi disclosed that Bollywood didn't support his movie before its success. He also shared that the number of shows dropped from 250 to 25 as exhibitors prioritised larger films.

Hanuman Ansh director Vishal Chaturvedi stated in a recent podcast with Raunac that as the movie began to do well, a number of people in the industry congratulated him.

Vishal Chaturvedi said, "After the film started to do well, several people called me to congratulate me. I don't want to name them. One of those who congratulated me was Madhur Bhandarkar, whom I had not asked for any support."

The director refused to mention others because he had sought help from those people, and they didn't help him. "I don’t want to name them for now, just because they are congratulating me."

The director of Hanuman Ansh also spoke about how people in the industry often discourage filmmakers by claiming certain content won’t work, despite not really knowing what audiences will accept.

"People discourage you, saying this content wouldn't work, but mostly don’t know what is going to work, but yet they pass on their gyaan to others. The industry is filled with confused people. There are two sets of people, one who genuinely want to make films, and others who don’t have any passion and think filmmaking is something they should try."
