During the teaser launch event, Anurag Kashyap opened up about his experience of collaborating with Mrunal and shared that the film will be a “game-changer” for her. He recalled being very impressed by how some of the scenes turned out. He shared, "I saw two scenes. First I saw a sequence which I was not a part of. It really moved me when I saw the results. I’ve not seen Mrunal like this ever - this will be a game changer for her."

During the trailer launch event, Mrunal Thakur discussed the technical challenges of switching between different film industries. She noted that while language is a factor, the genre is what truly defines a performance. She credited her co-star, Adivi Sesh, for teaching her the specific physical nuances required for an action-heavy film, such as how to stand or slouch to convey vulnerability.

As the plot unfolds, the escaped convict finds himself unexpectedly torn between his desire for vengeance and a sudden need to protect the woman who betrayed him. Interestingly, the role of the female lead was originally meant for Shruti Haasan; however, she exited the project due to creative differences. Mrunal Thakur subsequently stepped in, bringing her acclaimed acting prowess to this high-stakes action drama.
