Jasmine Sandlas Opens Up About Difficult Phase
During a conversation on Ranveer Allahbadia’s podcast, Jasmine revealed that her life was not as perfect as it seemed. Despite achieving success, she was dealing with emotional pain and confusion. She said her journey felt overwhelming as she tried to handle everything on her own.
Reveals Her Battle With Alcohol
Talking about that period, she admitted, “I do regret some things that I did in those 2-3 years when I was drinking. A lot of things piled up - I was famous on one side, I was feeling certain things, my family dynamics broke apart, my father was no more, and I was successful. I drank more than I should have, and I regret it, but it was important for me at that time.” Her words reflected how inner struggles led her toward unhealthy habits.

Childhood Pain And Loneliness
Jasmin Sandlas also recalls about her childhood pain and loneliness. When asked what pushed her toward alcohol in her twenties, she said it stemmed from unresolved emotions from her childhood. She shared, “I experienced some heartbreak in my childhood because of my parents. They hurt me unknowingly many times, which left a sense of resentment. I still love them, but when a child’s heart breaks, a part of it stays that way. When you don’t have a safe space to turn to, you start searching for comfort everywhere. I’ve spent my life doing that—constantly longing and trying to find a place that feels like home.”
Family Support And Recovery
She credited her family, especially her mother, for helping her recover. Jasmine said their love and support stood by her during her lowest moments. She also mentioned how breaking old habits was difficult but necessary for a fresh start.
Career And Current Success
Born in Jalandhar and raised in California, Jasmine started her music career in 2008. She gained popularity with the song Yaar Na Miley from Kick starring Salman Khan. She is now enjoying success with tracks like jaiye Sajna, Mai Aur Tu, Shararat and Aari Aari.
