Dhurandhar Song Shararat: Ranveer Singh and Aditya Dhar have reacted with joy after a video of Rupali Ganguly’s mother, Rajani Ganguly, dancing to the song Shararat from the film Dhurandhar went viral on social media. The cheerful clip has won hearts online and drawn warm reactions from several celebrities connected to the film. The video was shared on Instagram by choreographer Vijay Ganguly, Rupali Ganguly’s brother. In the Reel, Rajani Ganguly is seen dancing confidently to the upbeat track in a relaxed home setting. As the music plays, she matches the rhythm with ease, smiling throughout and clearly enjoying herself. Vijay dances alongside her at first, then steps aside to cheer her on, ending the video with a hug.
Ranveer Singh, who stars in Dhurandhar, was quick to respond to the video. He commented, “Hahaaaa!!! superrerrb !!!”, expressing his excitement and appreciation. Director Aditya Dhar also praised the performance, writing, “Best Best Bestttttttt.” Actors Ayesha Khan and Krystle D’Souza, who appear in the song Shararat, also shared their reactions. Krystle commented, “How coooooollll ”, while Ayesha responded with fire emojis. Danish Pandor, another actor associated with the film, wrote, “So so good!! love it.” Rupali Ganguly herself was clearly proud of her mother and joined in the praise. She commented, “Mummmmyyyy rockstarrrrr. The best dance reel on this track.”
Furthermore, Filmmaker Farah Khan added a humorous note by asking, “Will she work for outside choreographers??” Tahira Kashyap called Rajani a ‘rockstar’, while musician Palash Muchhal commented, “Wow!!!!!!! Such a rockstar aunty is!!!” Even the film’s producers, Jio Studios, joined the conversation and wrote, “Hookstep: Learned. Hearts: Stolen.” Several other celebrities and fans also flooded the comments section with praise. Earlier, choreographer Vijay Ganguly addressed discussions around the casting of Shararat. He wrote, “Cinema is collaborative. It thrives on respect, nuance and context,” and clarified, “Tamannaah Bhatia was never under consideration because her star power is so significant it might have overwhelmed the specific needs of this scene.”
