In the latest vlog of filmmaker Farah Khan, she visited Gaurav Gera’s home with her cook, Dilip. While chatting, Farah asked Gaurav about reports claiming that Ranveer Singh used several vanity vans during the shoot of Dhurandhar. Joking about it, she said, “What a talent, give him 5 vans after Dhurandhar.”
Reacting to her comment, Gaurav quickly clarified, “I didn’t see so many vans.” Farah then laughed and added, “If he wants them, give them to him.” Their conversation has now sparked fresh discussions, with many wondering if the earlier reports were exaggerated.
How Did These Vanity Van Rumours Start?
The rumours first surfaced last year when several reports claimed that Ranveer Singh allegedly required three vanity vans during film shoots. Social media users also pointed out that the film’s production credits reportedly mentioned multiple vans for the actor. However, Ranveer’s team had denied the claims at that time.
Meanwhile, filmmaker Sanjay Gupta had earlier spoken about increasing entourage expenses in Bollywood during a podcast with Cyrus Broacha. He claimed that some actors use separate vans for makeup, meetings, gym sessions and personal space, which increases production costs significantly.

Talking about his bond with Ranveer Singh, Gaurav recalled a funny moment from the reading session of Dhurandhar. He revealed that Ranveer jokingly followed him to the washroom and teased him in his famous “Chutki” voice, saying, “Chutki, washroom jaayegi?”
Gaurav praised Ranveer’s personality and called him “super fun” and “wonderful.” Their light-hearted interaction has now become one of the most talked-about moments from Farah Khan’s vlog.
