Netflix announced the new season of its hit romantic dramedy on X, sharing a video of Lily Collins aka Emily Cooper. Along with the post, the streamer wrote, "Home sweet home Emily in Paris is returning for Season 6!"

Emily In Paris Season 6: Will Emily Choose Gabriel Again?

Season five, which premiered less than three weeks ago, with ten episodes on the streamer, delivered strong numbers. The latest season followed Emily (Lily Collins) as she expanded her horizons by heading a Paris-based marketing agency- Agence Grateau in Rome. She faced professional and romantic challenges as she adapted to life in a new city, a journey that ultimately led her back to Paris.

Talking about Emily's decision, series creator Darren Star told The Hollywood Reporter, “She really chooses her own life in Paris and her work, and what she’s worked so hard to achieve. I think ultimately that’s where her heart was and it clarified for her the fact that she wants to be in Paris and she wants to live there, and it’s not a temporary thing.”

The Netflix series creator also hinted at the on-and-off romance between Emily and Gabriel (Lucas Bravo) in season 6. He said, “I don’t think that Emily and Gabriel would be … I don’t think it’ll be an instant relationship, though I do believe that people can find their way back to each other."

Created, executive produced and written by Star, Emily in Paris Season 5 also stars Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu, Ashley Park, Lucas Bravo, Samuel Arnold, Bruno Gouery, William Abadie, Thalia Besson, Paul Forman, Arnaud Binard, Minnie Driver, Bryan Greenberg and Michèle Laroque.
