Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai Movie Release: After facing unexpected delays and last-minute changes, the official trailer for the upcoming Bollywood film Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai has finally been released online. Starring Varun Dhawan, Mrunal Thakur, and Pooja Hegde, the film promises to be a complete family entertainer packed with funny moments, dramatic twists, and highly energetic songs.
Directed by veteran filmmaker David Dhawan, the movie follows his signature style of loud comedy, mistaken identities, and entertaining chaos. The film recently faced legal trouble, which resulted in the sudden cancellation of its grand trailer launch event on May 21 due to a technical and legal dispute. Despite these behind-the-scenes issues, the makers decided to bypass the live event and share the promotional footage directly with fans online.

The three-minute, 15-second trailer opens in a courtroom, where a married couple played by Varun Dhawan and Mrunal Thakur are actively seeking a divorce. The funny reason behind their separation quickly sets the lighthearted mood for the rest of the film. When the judge asks why they want to end their marriage, Mrunal’s character jokingly complains that her husband only wants romance all the time. In response, Varun’s character explains that he simply wants to become a father.
Following their separation, Varun’s character later meets Pooja Hegde’s character at a nightclub, claims he is single, and quickly falls for her. The narrative takes a chaotic turn when the film introduces its main twist: both Mrunal and Pooja’s characters suddenly reveal that they are pregnant with Varun’s child at the exact same time.

The rest of the trailer follows Varun’s character as he frantically tries to manage a stressful double life. The scenes give major vibes of the 2005 comedy hit Garam Masala, showcasing the main lead scrambling to hide handbags and cover up his secrets so the two women never cross paths.

Nostalgia plays a massive part in the project, which features recreated versions of the classic tracks "Chunnari Chunnari" and the original "Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai" title song. The movie actually takes its title from the hit track featured in the 1999 comedy Biwi No.1.
The film boasts a strong supporting cast, including Maniesh Paul, Chunky Panday, Rakesh Bedi, Jimmy Shergill, Mouni Roy, Rajesh Kumar, and Ali Asgar. Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai is officially scheduled to hit cinema theatres on June 5.
