Haiwaan First Look Posters Out: On Wednesday, July 15, 2026, the filmmakers unveiled the first set of character posters, offering an intriguing glimpse of the two leading stars. Haiwaan marks the long-awaited on-screen reunion of Akshay Kumar and Saif Ali Khan after nearly two decades, with the duo last working together in the 2008 film Tashan.

Directed by legendary filmmaker Priyadarshan, Haiwaan is the official Hindi remake of his acclaimed 2016 Malayalam thriller Oppam.

The character posters deliberately position Akshay Kumar as a menacing force of vengeance, while Saif Ali Khan emerges as a deeply determined protector, setting up a massive moral and visual clash.

Taking to Instagram, Akshay Kumar introduced five striking promotional visuals that reveal different facets of the thriller's world. Three posters serve as the individual first looks for the main characters, while the remaining two tease the central conflict.

Akshay's individual poster presents him in a dramatically dark avatar. Sporting a thick beard with a cap pulled exceptionally low over his head, he stares straight at the audience, his face almost entirely swallowed by shadows.

The tagline on his poster reads: “Vengeance sees everything.” In complete contrast, Saif’s first-look poster is bathed in soft light framing both sides of his face. Saif reportedly plays a blind martial artist in the film, and the tagline for his character reads: “Every sense is a weapon.”

While Saif’s character is blind, his face is fully illuminated. Akshay plays a sighted man, yet his eyes are completely hidden behind the bold film title.

The final poster brings both actors into the same frame for the first time. Divided sharply between shades of red and yellow, it places Akshay and Saif opposite one another. Positioned directly between them is the silhouette of a young girl clutching a teddy bear, strongly suggesting that this child is the central focus of their dangerous confrontation.

The screenplay for Haiwaan has been co-written by Rohan Shankar and Abhilash Nair, with the film's music composed by Pritam. Interestingly, the posters credit Abhilash Nair as a co-director alongside Priyadarshan.

This project also continues Akshay Kumar's renewed creative partnership with Priyadarshan, arriving as their second consecutive collaboration following the horror-comedy Bhooth Bangla, which released earlier in 2026.

Haiwaan is all set to release theatrically worldwide on September 11, 2026.
