Splitsvilla 16's Akanksha Choudhary accused fellow contestant Diksha Pawar of physically abusing her on the broadcast channel on her Instagram account, in a recent and unsettling disclosure. She said that the incident was far more serious than what would have been seen on screen and posted a photo of her leg with obvious bruises and injuries. Akanksha Choudhary felt alone and wanted to leave, in her account of the experience.
Akanksha Choudhary added that the injuries were still noticeable days after the occurrence, refuting theories that the incident might have been staged."This wasn’t just a 'fight', it was violence. I was hit with heels, slapped till my lips bled, my under-eyes bruised and bleeding, with scratches all over my neck, and this happened on national television, in front of everyone."
Akanksha Choudhary mentioned the photos were taken days later, but the injuries looked just as fresh. "This photo was taken 10-15 days later, the day I finally got my phone back in the villa, and the wounds were still that fresh, still visible. And yet, people still say I never bled. Imagine going through all of that and then being told it never even happened. All of it started from one lie, one label, just to create a narrative and make me look worse, and even now, those stories haven’t stopped. While they were busy building narratives, I was living with the aftermath, carrying those marks into every single day."

"That day broke something inside me. I felt numb, alone, completely shut down. I wanted to leave, I really did, but I didn’t, because I’m not a quitter. And now, after everything, the pain, the lies, the isolation, I don’t even react anymore. I’m just numb to it."
Akanksha Choudhary's statement emphasised the emotional toll the act took on her in addition to describing the physical damage she claims to have sustained.
Akanksha Choudhary's post has since generated responses from the audience and her fans. While many have called out Diksha Pawar's behaviour on the show, others extended their support to the beauty pageant holder.
