Television actress Akanksha Chamola has made another emotional revelation on Lock Upp 2. After recently speaking about her separation from husband Gaurav Khanna, she has now shared that she is bisexual and had relationships with women before marriage. Her honest confession left the contestants and hosts emotional, while many praised her courage for speaking openly about her personal life on national television.

Akanksha Chamola Opens Up About Her Sexuality

Akanksha Chamola, in an interview with hosts Riteish Deshmukh and Farah Khan, admitted that she was a bisexual lady before marrying anyone.

She said, "I was bisexual before marriage. I've had relationships with girls; not very intimate ones, but yes, I've had relationships with a few women too. And I'm crazy about women."

Akanksha went on to say that she admires women and is very attracted to them emotionally because she finds them safe, just as her mother and sisters. 

'Women Have Always Been My Safe Space': Akanksha Chamola 

Akanksha shared that she has always connected deeply with feminine energy. She said, "I admire women and feel attracted to them. For me, they are a safe space. Since childhood, I felt the world was male-dominated, and we naturally turned to our mothers or sisters for comfort. I have always loved that feeling of safety."

According to Akanksha, her admiration for women comes from emotional comfort rather than social labels.

Akanksha Chamola Says She Loves Feminine Energy 

The actress added that she has never believed in the idea that women cannot be good friends because of jealousy or competition.

She said, "I love feminine energy. I feel more comfortable around it. People say two women cannot be good friends, but I have never experienced that. Every woman is beautiful to me. For me, it is simply love. Society may call it anything, but for me, it is pure love."

Her emotional confession moved everyone on the show. Farah Khan hugged Akanksha after her statement, while several contestants were seen getting emotional.

Earlier, she had also revealed that she and her husband, Gaurav Khanna, have separated and are heading for divorce.
