Anshula Kapoor, daughter of Bollywood producer Boney Kapoor and sister of actor Arjun Kapoor is all set to begin a new chapter as she prepares to marry her longtime boyfriend, Rohan Thakkar. Ahead of the wedding, the Kapoor family came together for her pre-wedding celebrations, including the mehendi, chura and kalire ceremonies. The intimate functions were filled with emotional moments, family traditions and the presence of several Bollywood celebrities, making the celebrations even more memorable.

Anshula Kapoor shared glimpses from her chura and kalire ceremony on social media. Surrounded by her family, she received blessings from the elders before starting her new journey. For the ceremony, Anshula wore a beautiful pista green traditional suit that perfectly matched the festive mood of the celebration.

One of the most touching moments came when Anshula hugged her brother, Arjun Kapoor, and broke down in tears. Arjun performed the wedding ritual before warmly embracing his sister. 

The emotional moment reflected the close bond the siblings share. Since the passing of their mother, Mona Shourie Kapoor, Arjun has always stood by Anshula like a guardian, making the occasion especially emotional for both of them.

Younger Sisters Janhvi Kapoor And Khushi Kapoor Tie Kalire

Anshula’s half sisters Janhvi Kapoor and Khushi Kapoor took part in the ceremony by tying the traditional kalire on her wrists. Janhvi and Khushi had also helped in organising the mehendi celebrations and planned a special surprise for the bride-to-be.

 

After the ritual, Anshula followed the wedding tradition of shaking her kalire over her unmarried siblings and friends. It is believed that the person on whom the kalire falls may get married next. Social media personality Orry was also seen enjoying the cheerful moment And shared some moments from function.

Kapoor Family Celebrates Together

The pre-wedding celebrations brought the entire Kapoor family together. Boney Kapoor posed proudly with all four of his children—Arjun, Anshula, Janhvi and Khushi.

Family members, including Anil Kapoor and Sanjay Kapoor, attended the ceremonies. Veteran actor Shabana Azmi and actor Varun Dhawan also joined the celebrations, adding star power to the joyous occasion.
