Jailer 2: Rajinikanth is reportedly charging ₹110 crore for Jailer 2, while his total earnings could reach around ₹180 crore if the film performs exceptionally well at the box office. According to a report in Filmibeat Tamil, the Nelson Dilipkumar directorial has an estimated budget of ₹240 crore to ₹300 crore.

Jailer 2 Budget: How Much Did Sun Pictures Spend?

According to the report, Jailer 2 has been made on an estimated budget of ₹240 crore to ₹300 crore, including the remuneration of Rajinikanth and other principal cast members. The report also suggests that the production cost, excluding major cast salaries, was kept below ₹100 crore.

These figures remain unverified. The reported budget puts the sequel among the major productions in Rajinikanth’s recent filmography, although the actual expenditure has not been disclosed by the makers.

The film reunites Rajinikanth with director Nelson Dilipkumar after Jailer (2023). The earlier film became a major commercial success, raising expectations for its sequel and strengthening the franchise’s box-office appeal.

Rajinikanth’s Jailer 2 Salary: Reportedly ₹110 Crore

Rajinikanth is reportedly receiving ₹110 crore as his fixed remuneration for Jailer 2. Filmibeat Tamil has also reported that the superstar may receive a share of the film’s profits.

If the reported arrangement delivers the expected returns, his overall earnings from the project could reach approximately ₹180 crore. This is a projection, not a confirmed payment. The final amount would depend on the film’s performance and the terms of the reported profit-sharing deal.

Rajinikanth’s leading role in a successful franchise, along with the anticipation surrounding the sequel, helps explain the attention around his reported fee. However, box-office expectations alone cannot confirm an actor’s actual remuneration.
