Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah has come out in support of Bigg Boss 20 contestant Qazi Touqeer. He also said he would vote for the singer to help him win the reality show.
In a conversation on Shubhankar Mishra's YouTube channel, Omar said he doesn't follow Bigg Boss, but he knows Qazi is a part of this season.
He said, "I have seen Qazi in 1-2 concerts; he sings well. I read about it in the newspaper. Acche khase jhagde bhi chal rahe hain uski wajah se show mein..."
The CM was then told that Qazi has a real chance of winning the show, and he seemed happy to hear it.
"That's very good. First we won the Ranji Trophy; now if we win Bigg Boss, then it's a good thing. I heard that Salman called him out for his remarks on a housemate's life. Is this through public voting? Then I should vote for him. He sings very well. I remember he won Fame Gurukul suddenly, and nobody expected it."
Who Is Qazi Touqeer?
Qazi is back on television after almost 21 years with Bigg Boss 20.
He rose to fame in 2005 when he won the reality show Fame Gurukul, sharing the title with Ruprekha Banerjee. Arijit Singh was also on that season and ended up in sixth place.
