According to the Jumanji: Open World trailer, the game's heroes break out of the console and cause chaos in the real world. Since they're still video game characters, they move and act like glitchy game avatars while walking around our world.
The main four characters are back - Dr Bravestone, Franklin Finbar, Ruby Roundhouse and Professor Shelly Oberon, bringing along the same fun blend of action, humour, and body-swapping like the last Jumanji movies.
Danny DeVito, Nick Jonas, Awkwafina, Marin Hinkle, Bebe Neuwirth, Lamorne Morris, and Rhys Darby are among the returning cast members; Dan Hildebrand and Jack Jewkes have joined the group.

The release date of Jumanji: Open World has been rescheduled from December 11 to December 25, 2026.
The third instalment will hit theatres shortly after Dune: installment Three and Avengers: Doomsday's December 18 debuts, thanks to the new Christmas release.
