Kailash Kher Gwalior Concert: Chaos broke out during singer Kailash Kher’s live concert in Gwalior after the crowd turned unruly and ignored security arrangements. The incident took place on Thursday when Kher was performing in Madhya Pradesh to mark the birth anniversary of former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee. As the concert progressed, sections of the audience began jumping over barricades and moving dangerously close to the stage. Some people even tried to climb onto the stage to get nearer to the singer. The sudden crowd surge caused panic and disrupted the performance, leaving Kailash Kher visibly upset.
Videos from the event quickly went viral on social media, showing the singer warning the audience and urging them to behave responsibly. Addressing the crowd, a frustrated Kailash Kher said, “If anyone comes close to us or to our equipment, we would stop the programme immediately. We appreciated you so much. However, at this moment, you are behaving like animals.” Despite his repeated requests, the situation failed to improve. Kailash Kher was also seen asking senior police officers and security staff to step in and control the crowd. However, reports suggest that the number of security personnel present was not sufficient to manage such a large gathering. With the crowd becoming increasingly difficult to control, the singer had no option but to stop the concert midway and leave the venue, citing safety concerns for himself, his team and the equipment.
Meanwhile, the incident raised serious questions about crowd management and security planning at public events. Earlier the same day, Union Home Minister Amit Shah had addressed a gathering at the very same venue for the same occasion, with tight security arrangements in place. However, when Kailash Kher’s performance began later, similar security measures were noticeably missing, leading to the chaos.

On the other hand, this was not the first time Kailash Kher faced trouble during a live show. Earlier this year, he was attacked during a concert in Karnataka when members of the audience threw bottles at him. Fortunately, the singer was not injured and continued performing on that occasion. The police later arrested the person accused of the attack.
