Her statement read: "Dear friends and family, after much thought and consideration, my husband and I are going our separate ways. I am grateful for the time we shared and wish him well for the future. I sincerely ask for kindness and respect for our privacy as we move forward. Love, Kanika."

The note that Kanika shared did not have any details about the reason or circumstances that led to the separation. She also did not confirm whether the couple had initiated divorce proceedings.

Kanika Knew Gautam For 15 Years

Kanika has always spoken fondly about her relationship with Gautam in public. She described him as a long-time friend who supported her through different phases of her personal and professional life.
