Mom 2 Release Date Out: Actor Khushi Kapoor is set to headline Mom 2, the official sequel to the 2017 crime thriller Mom. Slated for a theatrical release in November 2026, the film is produced by her father, Boney Kapoor, and directed by Girish Kohli. Extensive shooting for the emotional thriller has been carried out across Noida and Greece.

The original 2017 film Mom, directed by Ravi Udyawar, marked Sridevi’s final on-screen lead performance. Her powerful portrayal of a mother seeking justice earned her a posthumous National Film Award for Best Actress following her passing in February 2018.
By stepping into Mom 2, Khushi Kapoor is set to carry forward a legacy deeply cherished by her family and fans. Having made her acting debut as Betty Cooper in Zoya Akhtar's The Archies, Khushi faced initial career hurdles with projects like Naadaaniyan and Loveyapa. Industry insiders view Mom 2 as a crucial turning point in her acting journey.
Highlighting her growth, reports in Free Press Journal stated, "Khushi will knock you out with her performance. It's almost as if KK's a new actor altogether. Though it is usually her sister Janhvi, who is compared to her mom, this time, Khushi has sprung a pleasant surprise on everyone by bringing her A-game to this emotional-thriller.
