Nagabandham: On the auspicious occasion of Mahashivaratri, Telugu superstar Mahesh Babu finally unveiled the much-awaited teaser of filmmaker Abhishek Nama’s Nagabandham starring Virat Karrna in the lead role. This pan-India project promises to redefine Indian cinema this summer. The first glimpses of World of Nagabandham present top-notch visuals in a dialogue-free spectacle, blending Indian mythology with historical action. Virat Karrna’s transformation into a warrior has left fans impressed and they can't wait to uncover a divine secret older than time.

The teaser opens in the cold and mysterious Himalayas, where a secret older than time lies hidden. The clip transitions into haunting temple corridors, setting the tone for ancient mysteries tied to hidden cosmic forces.

Mounted on a grand scale, the film explores India's ancient Vishnu temples, delving into the enigmatic ritual of Nagabandham. Abhishek Nama’s directorial venture promises to uncover hidden mysteries and sacred traditions with high-end VFX. The teaser offers a glimpse into the spiritual world of these revered sites, packed with action.

Leading the narrative, Virat Karrna delivers a fierce, transformative avatar. His commanding presence, especially in the Lord Shiva manifestation, is the highlight of the teaser. The clip also shows looming historical threats from Afghan Sultan Abdali, who posed a threat to the very existence of Sanatana Dharma. The conflict takes shape at the intersection of cultural resistance and divine guardianship.

Abhishek Nama’s larger-than-life storytelling, combined with cinematography by Soundar Rajan S, lends the film a striking visual appeal, along with Junaid Kumar’s goosebumps-inducing background score. Nagabandham is produced by Kishore Annapureddy and Nishitha Nagireddy under NIK Studios and Abhishek Pictures. The film is slated for a summer 2026 theatrical release in India in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, Hindi, and English. However, the official release date is yet to be announced by the makers.
