1. Eetha

Laxman Utekar's Eetha is a biopic on Vithabai Narayangaonkar, the celebrated Lavani and Tamasha artist from Maharashtra. It is set to release on December 4, 2026.

The teaser has already got fans excited. Many praised Shraddha's transformation and screen presence. If the first glimpse is anything to go by, Eetha hopes to bring the story of one of Maharashtra's greatest folk artistes to a wider audience.

2. The Confession of Mary

National Award-winning filmmaker Ananth Mahadevan has directed the film. Patekar plays Father Benedict, a priest accused of murdering a woman. The story is inspired by the 1966 Mariyakutty murder case in Kerala.

The official synopsis reads, "Marie's ravaged dead body was found in the thickets and all evidence pointed to Father Benedict's involvement in the case. In a stirring conflict of conscience and faith, Benedict refuses to divulge the confession that Marie had made to him. Benedict becomes the first priest to be sentenced to death ... But the Church and the Universe bring together elements that lead to a cathartic climax."

3. Shakti Shalini

Shakti Shalini is a horror-comedy from Maddock Films' horror-comedy universe, which has given us Stree, Bhediya and Munjya. Aditya Sarpotdar has directed it.

Speaking to PTI, the director said, "I never expected that 'Shakti Shalini' would be his last film. I'm deeply saddened that this will be his last work. I never thought that he would suddenly step away in this way. I'm unable to process what has actually happened. It (film) is going to be a tribute to one of the best actors of our cinema."

The film was set to release on December 24, 2026. Some reports now say it may move to 2027.
