The actor's mortal remains were brought from Goa to Pune and taken to his farmhouse in Donje village, where family members, friends, colleagues and political leaders gathered to bid him a final farewell.
The Maharashtra government has announced that the actor will be cremated with full state honours.

Nana Patekar's family members were present as his mortal remains reached Donje. His wife Neelkanti Patekar and son Malhar Patekar were among those who had been present during the arrangements following his death in Goa.
The final rites are taking place at his Pune farmhouse. Fans were also given an opportunity to pay their last respects to the actor before the cremation.
Devendra Fadnavis Pays Tribute To Nana Patekar
Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis paid his respects to Nana Patekar after the actor's mortal remains reached Pune. Fadnavis offered floral tributes and met members of the grieving family.
Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde also reached the funeral venue in Pune to pay his final respects. Several other political leaders and government officials were present at the venue.

Jackie Shroff Arrives For Nana Patekar’s Last Rites
Actor Jackie Shroff was among the film personalities who arrived in Donje to attend Nana Patekar's last rites. The two actors shared a close friendship, and Jackie had often spoken warmly about Nana.
His presence at the funeral reflected the strong bond they shared beyond their professional association.

Nana Patekar Receives Full State Honours
The Maharashtra government accords Nana Patekar a state funeral in recognition of his contribution to Marathi theatre and Hindi and Marathi cinema. Maharashtra Cultural Affairs Minister Ashish Shelar announced the decision following the actor's death.
Nana Patekar died in Goa on Thursday morning at the age of 75 after suffering a cardiac arrest. He was taken to Manipal Hospital, where doctors attempted to revive him, but he could not be saved.
