Priya Sachdeva, wife of the late industrialist Sunjay Kapur, is also a former model and an entrepreneur who currently manages Sunjay's empire. Priya shared a core memory remembering her husband on her birthday. In the story, she talked about how today is a particularly hard day for her. She also opened up about how their kids are now doing things that Sanjay used to do.

Taking to her Instagram story, Priya Sachdeva shared an old tweet of Sunjay Kapur, where he had wished her in the most heartwarming words and called Priya his 'forever partner'. In the caption, she wrote, "Today is a hard day for me. I always looked forward to my birthday cards and wishes from you. They were filled with your love, affection and appreciation for me. I cannot celebrate my life when I have lost the love of my life."

She further added, "But in the smallest moments, I feel you close. Azarias made me a birthday card and Safira wished me at midnight. That is enough for me. Through the children, I see the same love and appreciation you had for me and I know you are still here with us."

Sunjay Kapur's Death

Sunjay Kapur passed away on June 12 in London at the age of 53. The industrialist reportedly suffered a heart attack while he was playing Polo. His last rites were performed at the Lodhi Road Cremation Group in South Delhi on June 19, where all his close family members and friends were present.

Sunjay Kapur’s Family

Sunjay Kapur married his first wife in 1996, Nandita Mahtani, who is a prominent fashion designer and has worked with many celebrities. Their marriage ended in 2000, and they had no children together.

In 2003, Sunjay married Bollywood actress Karisma Kapoor. They have two children together; their first daughter, Samaira, was born in 2005, and their second son, Kiaan, was born in 2010. Sanjay and Karisma ended their marriage in 2014 after she filed a domestic violence case against Sunjay and his mother. The divorce was finalised in 2016.

Shortly after their divorce, Sunjay married Priya Sachdeva in 2017. In 2019, the couple welcomed their firstborn, Azarias.
