Rajpal Yadav has been criticised by students from the Gurukul Seva Trust in the Shahjahanpur region of Uttar Pradesh. On February 21, over 40 kids gathered money from their pockets, filled a piggy bank, and sent it to the actor's ancestral village address in Kundra. The gesture was intended as a show of support when he was arrested for a cheque-bounce case. They had anticipated meeting the Bollywood actor. Despite their prior act of service, Rajpal Yadav had neglected to pay them a visit, which was the source of this disappointment.
Rajpal Yadav Responds After Students Express Disappointment
Rajpal Yadav said that he had not yet had the opportunity to spend time with his family in response to the students' disappointment. He stated that he was going to see them, hug them and take pictures with them. Speaking to PTI over the phone, he clarified that he was still gathering information on people who had helped him during the difficult phase.

Rajpal Yadav said, "I am a person who believes in the guru tradition, and all those children are my own. I will definitely meet them, hug them and take photographs with them." He added, "As far as meeting the children is concerned, I was told they were from an orphanage. In my view, if children have an ashram, they are not orphans."
In a 29-second video, the kids expressed their disappointment with the actor. "Namaste Rajpal bhaiya, we have learnt that you have returned home after being released from jail. Congratulations to you. We all want to meet you and know whether you received the help we sent. If you did, why did you not respond to our letter? We are upset with you." They added that he could have at least spoken to them to reassure them, even if he couldn't.
The piggy bank was filled collectively before being shipped to his village address, according to school officials, who stated that the students' donation was completely voluntary. They claimed that the gesture was motivated only by love for the Shahjahanpur-born actor, who is well-known for his comedy roles in Hindi movies, like Chup Chup Ke, Bhool Bhulaiyaa, Bhoothnath and many more.
Rajpal Yadav was asked to surrender in Tihari Jail due to a debt dispute over his 2010 directorial debut, Ata Pata Lapata. He was allegedly imprisoned for not repaying the Rs 5 crore he had borrowed for the project from Murli Projects Private Limited.
Meanwhile, the actor has returned to the sets of the upcoming movie.
