Ramayana Part 1 is one of the highly-anticipated movies of the year. On Thursday, makers unveiled the second trailer of the upcoming mythological movie. The trailer offers a closer look at Ranbir Kapoor as Rama, Yash as Ravana and Sai Pallavi as Sita.

A major highlight shows Ravana confronting Indra (Kunal Kapoor), attacking the king of the gods and bringing his celestial elephant Airavata crashing down. The sequence showcases Ravana’s immense power and ambition, offering a clearer glimpse of the film’s grand scale.
Ranbir Kapoor introduced as a man, not God
The second trailer portrays Rama (Ranbir Kapoor) as humanity’s hope against Ravana, with the actor declaring, "If I don’t stop him, the world will fall."
"Humanity had one hope. Not a God, but a man — Rama," the voiceover says.
It also features Rama battling a giant creature in a forest, alongside glimpses of Sai Pallavi’s Sita, grand kingdoms and large-scale battles, building anticipation for the epic clash between Rama and Ravana.
Ramayana Part 1 gets new release date
Ramayana Part 1 will hit the theatres on November 5, 2026. In an announcement, the makers wrote, "On the auspicious occasion of Navratri, we celebrate the beginning of a new era. Yeh Ram ke Yug ka Aarambh hai."
"Namit Malhotra’s Ramayana Part 1: In cinemas WORLDWIDE, across all premium formats, from 5th November," it further read.
