Nearly a year later, he returns with his new comedy special, Still Alive, marking his comeback after months of scrutiny. In the set, he opens up about the controversy, personal struggles, lessons learned, and also takes digs at Sunil Pal, Mukesh Khanna, and B Praak.
Samay Raina mocked celebrities and others who voiced their opinions amid the scandal. "Sab aa gaye the khane hamko, Sunil Pal, politicians, and celebrities. He made fun of Sunil Pal, saying, "Jo khud agle episode me aa rahe the," when the comedian suggested that he learn from Kapil Sharma.
Samay Raina also made fun of renowned actor Mukesh Khanna and musician B Praak, calling them both attention-seekers throughout the issue. "All the irrelevant people trying to get some limelight by kicking the f**king dead at that time."
"Shaktiman aa gaya tha yaar," he said, making a clear jab at Mukesh Khanna. "Shaktiman se kaise ladenge. Tune bache mare hain, tu kya moral high ground le ke baitha hai."

After Ranveer Allahbadia asked a candidate a question that many viewers considered disrespectful, the dispute broke out.

Ranveer Allahbadia, Ashish Chanchlani, and Apoorva Mukhija were on the panel of Samay Raina's India's Got Latent in February 2025. There was a lot of criticism throughout the program when Ranveer asked a participant about their parents and sex. He, Samay, Apoorva, and Ashish were subjected to several FIRs. During the show, they were charged with encouraging vulgarity and having sexually explicit conversations. Following the strong backlash, Samay Raina removed all of the show's episodes from YouTube.
Ranveer continued to face harsh criticism for his comments, while Apoorva received rape threats. Ranveer made a comeback with his show in March once the Supreme Court gave him the green signal. Ashish made a reappearance on YouTube with his self-directed science fiction series, Ekaki, and Apoorva resumed her vlogs.
