The show has quickly become one of the most talked-about superhero projects of the year. Following months of massive excitement among Marvel fans, Spider Noir is premiered on Prime Video today, May 27, 2026, at 12:30 PM IST. To the delight of eager viewers, the superhero drama arrived as a full-season drop. All eight episodes were released together.

Spider Noir Plot: Who Is Ben Reilly?
Set against the dangerous backdrop of 1930s New York City, the story revolves around Ben Reilly (Nicolas Cage). Ben is a deeply broken private investigator carrying emotional wounds from his past. He used to fight crime as a masked vigilante known as 'The Spider', but he hung up his mask after losing the love of his life in a tragic accident.

While trying to navigate a corrupt city held in an iron grip by the ruthless gangster Silvermane (Brendan Gleeson), Ben is pulled back into a web of dangerous crimes. The star-studded cast also features Lamorne Morris as reporter Robbie Robertson, Karen Rodriguez as Ben's assistant Janet, alongside Jack Huston and Li Jun Li.
Will There Be Spider Noir Season 2?
As of right now, MGM+ and Prime Video have not officially renewed the show for a second season. However, Executive producer Chris Miller told the media that they would be happy to do more, while Phil Lord added, 'We are television producers. We’re not gonna say no.'

Co-showrunner Oren Uziel also explained that the private eye format makes future seasons very easy to plan, stating, “One of the magical things about any private detective story is, if you want another story, all it takes is another client to knock on that door, and then comes a new set of cases, a new set of problems, and a new adventure to go on." He concluded that the show is “conceived to be as many seasons as we want to go.”
