Preet Singh, who was recently seen in the 16th season of MTV's Splitsvilla, shared a video on her Instagram account that described a recent traumatic event. She claimed to have suffered a fractured tooth and swollen eyes as a result of being physically assaulted in a Mumbai club. She narrated the entire ordeal on Instagram and how a male friend of an influencer hit her.

Preet Singh didn't reveal the influencer's identity in the post. Raising concerns about women's safety in Mumbai, she wrote, "DISCLAIMER. I have always heard that Mumbai is one of the safest cities for girls, but I never imagined it would welcome me like this. Even as I write this, I'm shivering—my eyes are swollen, my face is bruised, and I'm still trying to process what happened."

Preet Singh described how her male friend intervened and violently attacked her after a verbal altercation swiftly turned into something horrifying. She claimed that as she and her buddy were having fun at a club, a girl abruptly began yelling and asking how they were ever permitted inside.

Preet Singh shared, "I was hit so badly that my tooth broke and my face swelled up. It was only when people intervened that the situation stopped. Later, I got to know that the girl is a so-called influencer. I’m still in shock that something like this could happen so openly. No one deserves to go through this."

Many users urged her to reveal the offender and pursue the appropriate legal action. Preet Singh received immense support from peers like Himanshu and Ruru Thakur. Some from the film fraternity also expressed concern.  Actress Fatima Sana Shaikh wrote, "Please go file a complaint. Hope you get well soon." Urfi wrote, "Please please go to a police and file a complaint !! If you need anything, you have my number." Ahsaas wrote, "You should reveal the name. Go to the police. We are with you. Gosh!!!!"

In case you were not aware, Preet appeared on the show as a Paisa Villa participant before the merger. On Splitsvilla 16, she was eliminated a few episodes earlier. Sunny Leone and Karan Kundrra-hosted show, currently streaming on JioHotstar every Friday, Saturday and Sunday at 7 PM.
