Bigg Boss 20 contestant Kushal Tanwar, popularly known as Gullu, has opened up about a difficult chapter of his personal life. He revealed that his marriage ended within four-five months. Gullu Says He Was Married For 4-5 Months

During a candid conversation with Qazi Touqeer on Bigg Boss Season 20, Gullu revealed that he had been married for around four-and-a-half to five months. He said the marriage took place due to family pressure and social expectations.

He explained that marriages happen early in his family and there was pressure on him to settle down. The Roadies Season 20 winner said he eventually went ahead with the marriage even though he was not in love with the woman he married.

He said, "Bahut tagdi cheez se nikal kar aaya hoon main. Vahan se bhaag ke aaya hoon main jaise taise. I was married for 4.5-5 months. Humari side naa aaj bhi shaadiyan jaldi karte hain. Pressure rehta hai ki aap aur karoge kya? aap kuch kar nahi rahe toh shaadi kar lo."

Gullu also opened up about what happened during his Roadies journey in 2025. He said his divorce proceedings were going on while he was participating in the show.

According to him, his family wanted him to continue with the marriage, while he wanted to end it. The situation also affected his relationship with his family, as they were upset with his decision and stopped speaking to him for some time.

He recalled that after winning Roadies, he went to Goa with his friends. During the trip, he came across a leaked photo from his wedding. At that point, he had not yet been divorced.

Gullu described the experience as a heartbreak, although it was not a typical breakup. He said he could not openly discuss it because people around him believed his decision was wrong. However, he felt ending the marriage was the right decision for him.
