Shatrughan Sinha, a veteran Bollywood actor, has finally watched Ranveer Singh's film Dhurandhar and shared his first reaction to the film in his latest post. The movie, directed by Aditya Dhar, received mixed reactions and was also termed a propaganda film. However, Shatrughan Sinha has rejected all such allegations and has termed the espionage thriller as a ‘true cinematic masterpiece’.

Posting on X (formerly Twitter), Shatrughan Sinha showed his appreciation for Dhurandhar. He wondered why people were labelling it as a propaganda film and said, “A film is a film.” He found the film engrossing, entertaining, and genuinely made. He also appreciated the large sets, which were erected in Bangkok, Thailand, to depict Pakistan in the film. Sinha found the locations authentic and added depth to the story.

Praise Technical Brilliance In The Film

Sinha highlighted the sharp editing and effective cinematography in the film. He was impressed by the technical staff and felt that they deserved special appreciation for their efforts. The senior actor felt that each person in the cast and crew had done their bit perfectly in the film. He also appreciated the marketing of the film, especially on YouTube.

Shatrughan Sinha Applauds The Star Cast Of Dhurandhar

Shatrughan Sinha was particularly impressed with Ranveer Singh and said that he was apt for the character of undercover agent Hamza Ali Mazari. He also praised Sanjay Dutt for his performance and Akshaye Khanna for his role. He mentioned Rakesh Bedi as the ‘icing on the cake’ and praised Saumya Tandon for her strong cameo appearance in the film.

Dhurandhar is a spy thriller with a stellar cast, including R Madhavan, Arjun Rampal, and newcomer Sara Arjun. The movie has continued to generate controversy but has obviously impressed Shatrughan Sinha, who has labelled it an unforgettable commercial entertainer.
