Born on May 22, 1973, in Itarsi, Madhya Pradesh, Nitesh Tiwari completed his early education at Bharat Mata Convent School in Ganj Basoda, Madhya Pradesh, and later pursued his engineering degree at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bombay in 1996 before entering the entertainment industry.
Before becoming a filmmaker, Tiwari served in the advertisement industry as a creative director of Leo Burnett, where he refined his skills of storytelling and gained experience in creative content.

Nitesh Tiwari made his directorial debut in 2011 with the film Chillar Party, which he co-directed with Vikas Bahl. The heart-warming movie, revolving around children and their bond of friendship, was appreciated by all.
