Actor Yash, who is set to turn 40 on January 8, will not be meeting his fans this year on his birthday. He revealed that he is busy shooting his upcoming movie, Toxic, which is slated to release on March 19, 2026. Yash also mentioned he wanted to meet his fans and make it happen this year, but due to work commitments, it is not possible. The actor promised a bigger reunion soon, adding he would be personally reading all the wishes and love sent his way on his birthday.

On Wednesday, Yash took to his Instagram stories and shared a statement addressing his fans ahead of his 40th birthday. He wrote, "To my dearest fans, I honestly am deeply aware of how you have been waiting to meet me over the last few years. Trust me, I have been longing to see you all just as much. I truly wanted to make it happen this year on my birthday, but I am fully immersed in finishing the film to make sure it is ready for you in theatres on March 19th 2026. Because of this, I won’t be able to meet you in person just yet."

He added, "Even though we couldn’t make it happen now, I promise to make it up to you. We will meet in a much bigger way, very soon.  In the meantime, I will be personally looking through all your wishes and chering every bit of the love you send."

Ahead of Yash's birthday, the makers dropped a new poster of Toxic – A Fairytale for Grown Ups, featuring the actor walking through fire. Along with the poster, a teaser release date announcement was made. The teaser of Toxic is set to be released on January 8 at 10:10 am.

Written by Yash and Geetu Mohandas and directed by Geetu Mohandas, Toxic also stars Kiara Advani, Huma Qureshi, Nayanthara, Tara Sutaria and many others. Produced by Venkat K. Narayana and Yash under KVN Productions and Monster Mind Creations, the film is scheduled for a grand theatrical release on March 19, 2026. The Yash starrer will face a box office clash with Ranveer Singh's Dhurandhar 2, releasing on the same day.
