New Delhi | Jagran News Desk: Actors Priyanka Chopra and Salman Khan are the most searched international celebrities in the world. A study from SEMrush said, Priyanka was the most searched celebrity on social media with search interest peaking in December when she married the American singer Nick Jonas.
As per a report from Business Insider, Priyanka and Salman were searched 2.74 and 1.83 million times from October 2018 to October 2019. The actress, in particular, was searched 13.6 million times alone in December. Priyanka is leading the race with monthly search volume by over 4.2 million monthly searches.
The study includes two segments divided into actors and actresses. Among the top three, Salman Khan is followed by Amrish Puri and Shah Rukh Khan. The latter two were searched an average of 1.7 million times each.
On the other hand, Sunny Leone and Deepika Padukone with 3 million and 1.8 million searches have followed Priyanka Chopra in the list among actresses. Madhubala, meanwhile, is the sixth most eminent actresses with 1.3 million global searches.

Katrina Kaif, Alia Bhatt, Imran Khan, and Ranveer Singh were among other prominent names in the list. Megastar Amitabh Bachchan is placed seventh with monthly searches of around 7,20,000.
Talking about two on the list, Priyanka is all set to celebrate her first wedding anniversary with Nick on December 1. As of now, the actress is India shooting for a Netflix film--The White Tiger. Last week, the actress had shared a post on social media comparing her work in Hollywood and Bollywood. "Then and now... Salman, on the other hand, has wrapped up the shoot of his Dabangg series that is slated to be released on December 20. On weekends, the actor is seen on reality TV show Bigg Boss that he is hosting for the 10th time.
