RRR director SS Rajamouli, who recently carved his name in history by winning an Oscar for Naatu Naatu, will be working soon with superstar Mahesh Babu. If the reports are to be believed, the movie will begin with large scale workshops in late 2023.
The movie, tentatively titled SSMB29, will soon go on floors. SSMB29, according to Rajamouli, will be an action adventure in the vein of Indiana Jones, but with a much more contemporary and vastly expanded setting. Mahesh Babu will perform some amazing action sequences in the movie, which will take place all over the world.
For a period of six months, Rajamouli is setting up workshops for several departments. According to reports, there will be a significant amount of visual effects in this film, therefore the unit will take place in workshops on VFX composition, the use of green carpets, and other topics.
Not just this, Rajamouli is reportedly planning to make the movie, starring Mahesh Babu, bigger. Strong rumours suggest that he is attempting to divide Mahesh Babu's movie into three parts in order to appeal to global audiences.
It is pertinent to note that Mahesh Babu is currently working for SSMB28, which also stars Pooja Hegde, Sreeleela, Jagapathi Babu and Jayaram. After Athadu and Khaleja, SSMB28 marks Mahesh Babu and Trivikram Srinivas' third project together. The music is being scored by S Thaman, a music director. The movie will hit the theatres on January 13, 2023.
