Will Adah Sharma Be A Part Of ‘The Kerala Story 2’?

Afte the success of 'The Kerala Story', 'The Kerala Story 2' is one of the highly-anticipated movies of the year, but it is not confirmed yet if Adah will be a part of it. Opening up about the same, Adah Sharma said, “The next movie that we start shooting for, I can promise you I'm trying to do different stuff. I don't want to repeat the exact same character and role that I've done. So I'll try to do different things. The audience is nice to me whenever I try a different character and they're very supportive. So I'm going to take advantage of that and try to give them something they've not seen me do before.”

Do you believe that with 'The Kerala Story', people finally appreciated your artistic skills?

Highlighting on the topic, Adah Sharma said, "I got an opportunity to showcase and to probably be watched by so many people, though, I have to say the audience's been very nice to me from my debut. I started with 1920. Because I was new from the industry. I was just this girl who's doing horror for the first time. And I think the audience and critics were very nice to me even then. But it really helps to have a film that's watched so widely by so many people, because then you know, you can see your performance, you have a scale to put it out over there and have people all over the world watch it. So I'm very, very fortunate. I'm fortunate that people told other people to watch it. And I think the audience decided the fate of the movie and liked it so much. So I think we created out of it."

Adah Sharma's Upcoming Film Kofuku

As actors when you make stuff, whether it's a theatrical film or an OTT release or a short film, or even a music video, your main aim is to have majority of audience watching your art, you want to put it out there for people to watch and give you validation on it. So it's nice to make sure that everybody watches it. And if people like it, then they'll tell other people to watch it and then more people will watch it."
