Gurugram police on Saturday arrested Ankush Goyal, a co-owner of a liquor shop located in Gurugram's Signature Tower, in connection with the recent recovery of 4,000 cases of foreign liquor. Goyal, a resident of Guru Nanak Mohalla in Narnaul, was apprehended in Jhunjhunu, Rajasthan.
Police interrogation revealed that the liquor shop is jointly owned by three individuals, including the accused. It was determined that Goyal, along with another partner, was responsible for storing the recovered foreign liquor at the establishment. He is scheduled to be produced in court, where the police will seek his remand for further custodial interrogation.

This marks the second arrest in the case, following the earlier detention of the shop's manager, who is currently on a five-day police remand. A Special Investigation Team (SIT) has been constituted to investigate the matter further. The inquiry will now focus on tracing the source of the foreign liquor and identifying other accomplices involved in the operation.
