Gurugram police have made extensive arrangements to ensure the New Year's celebrations on December 31, 2025 are safe and peaceful. Special checkpoints have been set up in the city's main party hub, Sector-29 Market, and surrounding areas.
Police teams are patrolling the entire area, and suspicious vehicles are being thoroughly checked. DCP East Gaurav Rajpurohit personally visited Sector-29 Market and gave necessary instructions to the deployed police personnel. He ordered strict action against drink-driving, checks for weapons, and special attention to crowd management.

According to police officials, additional police forces have been deployed across the city. Surveillance is also being maintained using drones and CCTV cameras.
The public has been urged to celebrate, but to follow the rules and immediately report any suspicious activity to the police.
