Madhya Pradesh has been witnessing some mind-blowing cases of corruption in the last couple of months. These startling cases not only make you angry but also make you laugh over the foolish way of financial irregularity in Madhya Pradesh. From the snake-bite scam to diesel mixed with water filled in the vehicles of the chief minister's convoy, the list is long of such wrongdoings. The latest one is a bill for two schools for painting the walls.
According to an NDTV report, 168 labourers and 65 masons were employed for applying 4 litres of paint to a wall of a government school in the Shahdol district's Sakandi village. The astonishing bills of the payment created outrage on social media.

The bills, reportedly from the Byohari Assembly, showed that Rs 1.07 lakh was withdrawn to apply just four litres of oil paint on the school wall in Sakandi. Similarly, Rs 2.3 lakh was withdrawn to apply 20 litres in another school in Nipaniya village.
275 Labourers And 150 Masons Painted 10 Windows And Four Doors
According to the bills, 168 labourers and 65 masons painted the wall in Sakandi. At Nipaniya school, 275 labourers and 150 masons painted 10 windows and four doors. Can one digest this claim? This can happen on a document if the officials involved in the project are corrupt. It is needless to say that officials made overbills to siphon government fund into their pockets.
The bills surfaced on social media belong to a construction firm, Sudhakar Construction, which carried out the painting work. I made an unimaginable overbloated bill on May 5, 2025. The bill was verified by the principal of the Nipaniya school on April 4.
Earlier in May this year, people were scratching their heads when they heard that 47 people were declared dead 280 times to conduct a scam of Rs 11 in MP's Seoni.
