Mumbai crime branch on Tuesday nabbed a 22-year-old man for allegedly murdering his live-in partner, whose body was found stuffed in a suitcase in Kurla on November 19, ANI reported quoting DCP Crime Branch, Raj Tilak Roushan.
The police on Nov 19 received information about an unattended suitcase on CST road in Shanti Nagar, where the construction work of the metro rail is going on. During the investigation, a dead body of a woman was recovered from the suitcase.
Kurla police registered a case under IPC 302 against an unknown person and started further investigation. CCTV footage of the area was thoroughly scrutinised.
